at Barrow Castle, Rush Hill, Bath BA2 2QT

We are currently in the process of forming a Learning Community for CSTD Graduates and Associates who are currently writing, or planning to write about some aspect of their work practice. This came out of the last CSTD CPD day where a few of us expressed an interest in this. The aim of the learning community is to create a supportive network in which we can present, discuss and get feedback on our writing and our thinking that informs it. We envisage meeting for 3 or 4 days a year with the intention of committing to the Learning Community on an ongoing basis, attending all days where possible. We appreciate people may need to come to the first day to check out if is what they want! Judy has kindly offered the use of Barrow Castle for this endeavour. Details of the first meeting below:

Further information
The group will essentially develop as a peer led group, although I will assume some responsibility for coordination, to ensure the practicalities of group and structure of the days are attended to. My hope is we can develop a supportive, creative and enjoyable space to reflect on our writing and have some fun learning together! There will be a nominal cost for each day of £40 to cover the venue and administrations costs. If you are keen to be part of this but not able to make a Friday then please let us know and we can hopefully look at what works for all of us.
If you wish to discuss this further, please get in touch with Judy or myself on the contacts below. Please let me know if you are keen to present some writing on the first day.
